| My husband left to go back to Iraq on Sunday and I had to say goodbye again. This time it's worse because I don't know when I'm going to see him next because I'm getting deployed in October and he's coming back in December. I just hope this time goes by quickly. | | |
| Been with Marco for about a week now, it's good to have him back for a little bit even though it is for his brothers funeral. He is supposed to go back to Iraq on the 10th of July. Another 5 months without him! | | |
| Found out yesterday that my husbands brother died in a car accident. It still hasn't sunk in yet, I think it won't until I see him at the viewing. I know how important his brother was to him, I can't imagine what he is going through. I called the Red Cross to deliver the message to him since he is in Iraq, so he is coming home for emergency leave for a couple weeks. It sucks that I get to see him on such horrible circumstances. | | |
| Long day today, found out I am getting promoted to Corporal. Kinda sucks because I get the same pay as a Specialist but more responsibility. I'm supposed to go to the promotion board (to get promoted to Sergeant) in July, kinda nervous. | | |
